This is me, Haute Chocolate Runner (HRC).
And this is my family: the super supportive husband, my five-year old mini-me, and 2.5 year-old Blondie. Missing are the three dogs: Penelope, Madeline, and Ruby Sunshine.
I like to run. And to eat chocolate, like, in a major way. And to hang out with my family, and love Jesus, and drink wine and champagne and sparkling water, and read the weather and surf report ninety-one times a day hoping I’ll hear something new. I’m pretty sure I single-handedly keep The Weather Channel and Surfline in business.
I sound super fancy, but don’t let this fool you.
I’m pretty self-depricating, and kinda shallow (I would be CEO of Tabloid-Reader’s Anonymous if it existed).
Living in Southern California my whole life made me the way I am. Going to college at the beach probably didn’t help, either. Thankfully, I surround myself with people who I love and who make me feel special every day. They also help keep me grounded.
Yep, that’s the man who makes me great. I don’t know how I lucked out and married a David Beckham lookalike, I just did. Be jealous.
Together, we take care of biznass.
But enough about me.
This blog is what’s important, people. Come here for The Soup of this girl’s life, only I am definitely not as funny as I think I am, and I’ll probably stick to what I know, with a heavy emphasis on running and chocolate. And fashion, because this girl was raised a Nordies girl.
And there’ll always be a little bit of ‘tude.
Because the first day of school is always a fashion show. Even in preschool.
Oh, and I’m trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
